Speed Star Enterprises, LLC was incorporated in August 1996 by Jake and Jennifer Davis. Jake works full time providing web and engineering services to the Charlottesville and Greene Virginia area.

Experience

Jake attended Virginia Tech where he received a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he entered into the workforce designing engineered lumber products using CAD based design programs. In February 2007, due to illness and a building products decline, Jake left a truss design career to pursue a career in Web design and freelance Engineering. This change over from designing structures to designing web pages and writing code was relatively easy due to the similarities in design processes.
